Stickman War: Lead Your Army to Victory is a strategy game that lets you lead an army of stick figures through epic battles. Defeat your enemies and prove yourself to be the true Stick King.
The game features several different levels of play, including normal and crazy. Regardless of the difficulty level, each battle offers unique obstacles and enemies.
Gameplay
In the world of Stick War, ruthless and untiring warriors battle for dominance in a war-hungry society. Defend your statue and destroy the enemy’s by using a variety of units to defend and attack. Collect gold and upgrade your army as you progress through a series of levels until you can prove that you are the true Stick King.
The game features gritty real time battles streamlined for mobile play. In the upper part of the screen, click buttons to build or improve your units and send them in defense or attack mode.
The battlefields are persistent, with craters and trenches from previous artillery strikes still visible in the landscape. The game also offers a huge variety of modes: relive history in the Campaign, explore different eras with Historical Battles, or even take on other players in Skirmish. In addition, Orbs can be used to summon Heroes that will fight for you on the battlefield.
Campaign
Experience a rich and immersive campaign across the Western Front. Take on the role of both Theatre Commander and Field Commander to enjoy a variety of gameplay options that will shape the course of history. Choose which technologies to introduce, research new technologies like poison gas and tanks and more, and even relive or redefine historical battles. Then, dig detailed trenches, direct armies in dynamic real-time battles, and engage in strategic combat where every move counts.
Characters
The game is a mix of upgrading your army, attacking and defending. The player only gets two plays each turn so deciding what to improve, which leader to play and whether or not to attack is a delicate balance. I found that playing leaders too early and with weak armies was a sure way to get destroyed. I would say that Captain America was the best character to lead my army – he represents justice, bravery and selflessness.
Features
Since Stick War’s initial release, many more games have emerged that take inspiration from it. These new titles have innovated and refined the simple format of a real-time strategy game with medieval warfare, and they often feature campaigns and a much wider scope than their predecessors.
